hey mate, if you want to learn how to beat match and really want to the the basics down, i would say get a pair of cdjs or vinyl. but if you wanted to beat juggle etc get a vci or the new controller

at the end of the day are you even going to do a lot or beat juggling? i have not seen it where i live or seen many big name dj's do it?

just dont get a overkill set up and have fun

if you moving around alot i would not go for s4 as its gonna cost you loads flying with it due to weight.

this seems to have moved off the vci vs s4 road, but this is from the main thread about the s4, and is a very valid point in here imo

I know lots of people are comparing it to the VCI, which could technically do all the things that the Kontrol S4 can do, it wouldn't be as streamlined or fluid as performing with the S4 will be.

Maybe, but at that price why not get NI's flight case. The one they custom made to fit it.
