During the day, I'm a banker, working in the corporate credit group of one of the largest wholesale banks in North America. What I do personally is support these functions by confirming some of the deals, settling, and reconciling for PnL (profit and loss). It's an extremely encompassing job, and most people who I work with seem to have made this their life (meaning they eat, sleep, and breathe this stuff).
I also hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance, and I'm writing my CFA (certifies financial anylyst designation) exam in December.
I say I live a double life because when I go home, I'm a DJ. I turn off work. And I live with my girlfriend, so it makes being a DJ even harder (because we have chores to do, meals to eat, shows to watch, you know, bf/gf stuff). As hard as it is, I LOVE IT. This is my life, and I'm proud to say in full confidence, that I am a DJ.
Just a little fun fact: I am a House DJ, from Toronto Canada, and last August, I opened for Snoop Dogg in Muskoka, Ontario.
