Default Mixvibes Cross 1.5 is out

    Hi guys,

Cross 1.5 is out! The program is well designed and now comes with effects (Delay, High pass, Filter and flanger), they can be mild or wild depending on your mood. Cross 1.5 now includes an all new BPM analyzer, the BPM is 100% accurate. Cross 1.5 provides major enhancement in the midi section, it is now compatible with 14 bit midi protocol used buy dj controllers on the market. A new Midi hot plug function allows the DJ to hook up any DJ controller on the fly. The update is equipped with an output limiter to ensure a perfect sound quality to avoid all digital saturation. Cross 1.5 is now equipped with locators or hot cues that can be saved on the fly!

To conclude, the update is user focused! Go and check it out.

On reading the forums midi mapping has been available as a 1.4 upgrade.

Time to give it another whirl methinks .. I quickly uninstalled before once I realized the lack of mapping.

Yes you can map midi controllers by your own. And there are 35 midi presets

I got Cross 1.5 and the midi mapping is very detail, but a real pain in the ass. Im trying to map a X1 and im really going no where. Im just gonna map a midi fighter for the basic loops/load/fx delay trigger/cue+play/cue/set cue.

I'm like Saint Thomas, I need to try to believe, so did I...
the vinyl feel and sound quality are impressive, that i can say... and I heard time code CDs was nice too. Did someone tried em ?

I was a bit hesitating at some points since i use quite a lot of effects but now that this version encloses some... i will stick to cross

I won a Cross pack during the recent Mixvibes/Ninjatune DJ contest and have yet to explore it fully due to holidays madness.

I'll maybe write up some info over the holidays when I start to play with it.
