Are the people with problems positive they're running the latest firmware?

Just on the note of the Fx "holding" with 4 banks enabled I've found that the actual bank buttons dont send out any midi command(atleast for me) maybe is this why they are not "holding"?

... which is why you need the Firmware update! Designed to fit together.

1 thing, what could went wrong that i ´m not able to freeze the scenes, when i hit the deckbutton?

You need to reflash your MF with the latest firmware and then put it into Internal 4 Banks mode. The latest firmware has the 4 banks mode buttons also sending out MIDI, which is utilized in this mapping.

Without the latest MF firmware, the mapping will work, but the FX Hold function and release will not.

They do in the newer firmware, so get your update on!

Is there a way of loading the mapping without deleting my already customized MIDI mapping for the S4?

Yes, as was said, you can Add... -> Import in the Controller Manager. But you may need to Import the Effect Settings for the MF_FX mapping to function properly, so you may need to export your Custom S4 mapping first and then Add->Import that after loading the MF_FX mapping (since you may need to use the large Import button for that, haven't tested it yet)

So to use this mapping with 2 midi fighter I would just have to to have one be Deckalized Focus AB, and the other would be the Instant gratification mapping? just making suuure.

I am having alot of trouble opening the dmg file, i saved it to my desktop , i am running mac 10.6.2
1.83 ghx intel core dup and 1.25 gb memory, its a macbook, when i drag the icon to my desktop and try to open it it says MFU Update is not supported on this type of mac?

Yes, that's correct, you'll just have to make sure to assign the correct mapping to the MF you want. In a lot of cases, the Midi Fighters aren't listed differently in the In/Out Port lists so it's easy to confuse which one is which, especially when you need to set the ports for multiple mappings.
