Heh…I sometimes make decisions like that too. Usually to convince myself that I don't actually need one thing or that something else is worth spending more on.
The EKS stuff is supposed to be pretty cool (http://eks.fi/?p=home). They just don't have motorized platters. And they're not that popular for some reason.

Oh wow, the controls it offers is quite interesting ... I find it very ugly though lol (I prefer boxy designs). But maybe it will grow on me, I shall consider
