@Xone, how did you do the Phase Meter ? Is that on TouchOSC.
Yeah that's touchosc. Not my map- I don't have the patience to make something that crazy, I just bought it for like $6 a while ago it's pretty cool. I could dig around later and try to figure it out but it works perfectly. http://ipad-dj.noelc.com/ipad-dj/4-d...r-control.html

Setting up a phase meter is quite simple. Just lay a thin bipolar(centered) fader and have traktor send the deck's phase meter to that control. The extra lines on it are probably just a | label over it

With Lemur you might want to use a multislider (with only 1 slider), since you won't be needing a fader cap and you get a bit more detailed feedback when the phase is close to 0.

    Something like this:

Orange being phase, blue twitch like bend/scrub and track progress below it.

The problem is not the software it is trying to scratch by rubbing your finger on a touch screen

im thinking instead of making a small wheel like they have their you would be better off to make 1 big wheel that takes up like 70% the screen and it only has around 50% of the wheel exposed..

    maybe something like that?

im waiting until the ipad 3 and hoping the screen has better sensitivity and less lag, better response etc. but i would just use the scratch for just basic parts of mixing etc.

thats kind of like the idea i had..

that ones a little bigger than i had in my but is the basic jist.

i dont exactly want to "scratch" with it like a full hip hop dj just be able to do mix skeets to mix up songs together like in the video i posted.. something very similar to that.

its because when i do college gigs and small small clubs etc i find the idea of just being able to bring my laptop/ipad a very intriguing and ez/simple way of doing a shorter gig. where i dont have to haul all my of stuff for some measly sum of money.

plus ive always had an infatuation with touchscreen and completely customizable faces.. i would love spending hours setting up a software with the exact color scheme and set up that i want.. i find that stuff fun and interesting.

Alright cool, it can be done and the crossfader mapping is cool but it feels very limited.

Just download djay for the ipad to get an idea what it will be like.
