Thanks to listen to my podcast. I'm not a big fan of Nina Simone (although my wife is), but when i has heard this remix, i was "wtf who is this beautiful singer".

So for restaurant, you could check "LA ZYGOTHEQUE", typical french food and with very good wines. For two people, with wines, count 90 euros. It's five minutes by foot from Le Batofar. http://www.leclubdesbonsvivants.com/...d-acces.1.html

If you want to be in a chic and romantic place , but expensive, you could try "LE CITRUS ETOILE", one of the top gastronomic restaurant in Paris, original, beautiful and so SO good. Count 200 euros with wines for two people. It's there http://www.citrusetoile.fr/

You could try too the restaurants in Street MONTORGUEIL, some are very good, try the MY CARLITO, it's not french but argentina, 90 euros for two, and very very good.

Please get away from Kebab, it's so bad.

Anyway, there is a lot of restaurant in Montmartre, some are very good !

I have fond memories of Djoon Club, that's where Daft Punk had their afterparty after their concert. Of course, I was invited and met them too

Rex Club is super famous too, I would love to go there one day.

As for record shops I don't really know, I found a handful just walking around randomly asking people.
