i guess except for paris hilton and this madonna jesus guy everyone started out in their bedroom and also this should be the place you spend most of your time. practicing. except you´re on a world tour or own a venue where you practice your stuff

Bedroom dj for me, but most of those gigs involve me setting up all of my old stuffed animals up in various club poses, I give shots to the ones I've had for at least 19 years, and the remaining just get water. Then I turn on the light show and rock those fuzzy buggers.
So I guess I'm a club DJ.

Note to self: Fuzzy Bugger is a good DJ name. I have to remember that for the next name thread.

I play at home, though I'm trying to get into clubs... Have had a few gigs, one with a bigger name Dj but that's it.

Every one of these posts confirms more and more that a lot of the people on this forum don't know what they're talking about when they argue.

rubbish i play at a bar on a thurs and a club on a friday, and i can honestly say that a lot of the guys that play only at home are probably more technically skilled than i am, i've only been playing for getting on for 2 years, and both venues are open format/commercial, so i rarely get to play what i really want to play, but i do go off on one every now and then, and just do my own thing... normally about 4am when i've been playing since 10pm :P
