Ok...
Here are some nice High Res close up shots of the controller.. Feels very solid. IMHO better than the nanopad.
I have already cracked the case open and checked it out, They are using an ARM microprocessor, Fat silicone buttons, not sure what manufacturer made the knobs.
Ill try to take some photos of the guts and post.
The leds are surface mount. and are smaller than the typical 1206 smd form factor so modding would only be for the experienced.
No piezoelectric sensors on the pads looks to be purely resistive.Current Gear: Vestax VCI-100 with DJTT overlay and firmware mod / M-audio Fast Track Pro / Traktor Pro / Windows XP Pro / Korg Nanopad / Akai LPD8 / American Audio MCD-510 / and craploads of other gear

I dont see why they cant be swapped out, just take one off and take measuerments
