Default MixEmergency 2.4. The only way to get midi out of SDJ?

So. SDJ has been lacking MIDI out since day one, and it would be nice from Serato to at least give some clock out, since they completely abandoned the bridge. I mean, just let us have a DIY solution.
But knowing Serato, and how they don't even support HiDpi in 1.6, we probably won't get MIDI out at least for a couple years.

I had never heard of MixEmergency before today's article, and i noticed they promote Midi out as a feature.
Now, not knowing the software, and not finding any real info anywhere, does anyone of you know:
Would this be a viable option to sync up SDJ and Live?
Does it only work with video files? Does it add any latency to the whole setup?

    Thank you

It has midi out, yes, as in, midi output to illuminate LEDs on controllers etc.

It doesn't have a midi clock output, which is what it sounds like you're talking about.
