Not everyone's the same, as are their desired workflows.

Some from here it is safe to assume there is not one perfect tks that suits everyone.

I was more just asking for one that worked.

    You know, lights, buttons, etc.

You beat me to it... You just customize the screen to get what you need onto one page...

I figure I'm missing something easy here, so wheres the right .tks?

    Thanks in advance,

    EDIT: partial solution
After reading this thread about LEDs on the VCI:
    http://www.native-instruments.de/for...ad.php?t=62023
I selected the VCI in midi-out (in midi preferences) and restarted Traktor.
    Now all my lights work!

The rest of the work will simply be to remap the buttons I don't agree with.

is there a perfect anything for computers? i think not...

IMHO, there is no perfect tks file for everyone, but there may be one for YOU! point i'm trying to make is that people should explore their style of mixing and build a tks that tries to accurately represent that. to me, the tks that came with traktor le for the vci 100 was a good starter tks, but after about 5 months, i decided to upgrade to the full version and realized there was 4 DECKS!!! haha, so i redid everything, and have been slowly perfecting it. if i were to give someone this tks, they'd thinnk it was horrible, cause on the surface, NOTHING is where it should be, i mean NOTHING. but for me, its just what i need to do to work with four decks, and since i use an external mixer, it saves me about a million mappings that has to be done with 4 decks mixed internally.

Well there's one that fixes the jog ramp up, but many of the LEDs don't work. and the EFX buttons are all flipped around....

There is one article on the frontpage that contains all of Ean's tks files.

yes yes, as noted above, I've seen those.

You aren't getting what I'm looking for.

On each one of those, there's either going to be the ramp-up issue, a problem with the LEDs, or EFX buttons mixed up.

I'm going through the ramp-up resolving tks right now and fixing the LEDs and EFX buttons, but it's a crying shame it hasn't been done already.

The point of this thread was to make sure I'm not duplicating someone else's effort if someone else had already done so.
