sounds good, will give this a try when i get home.
is it hard to map all the controls etc? and do you use one of the standard bcr templates? haven't really tried using traktor yet.

Mapping controls is easy once you know how.
You got two make two categories:
- MIDImap
- Controlsmap
MIDImap is to be made in the software, e.g. Traktor
The controlsmap is handled on the device itself.
For the MIDImap it is pretty straight forward MIDIlearn stuff.
The Controlsmap I did the following:
- Switch Factory Preset #1 for a general MCU controlsmap
- Switch some rotaries from Absolute to Relative Mode, this is done on the device itself.

cool will have to get the manual out later ha,
I found that reading on the NI / Traktor forums was more helpful.
(Google on "BCR 2000 traktor")

Hey - I'm trying to set up loops on the bcr with the buttons on the second row of the unit. I want to be able to press one button for an 8 beat loop then another one for a 4 beat loop on the same deck, how can i get the lights of the 8 beat loop to switch off when i activate a 4 beat loop on traktor pro - is this possible?
Hope that makes sense!!
You need to set the buttons from "toggle on" to "toggle off" modus. This will be the start of a real button mapping in stead of a switch mapping.
This is done by the following actions:
1.) Pressing and holding "Edit" button on your BCR.
2.) Press/tap the button you want to address for the looping
3.) Let go of the "Edit" button
4.) Twist the Rotary on the tope row that reads Mode. (If I am correct this is the seventh row)
Keep on twisting this until the led on the right reads "t-off"
5.) press/tap "Edit" Button
6.) press/tap "Save" Button, so it starts blinking.
7.) again press/tap "Save" Button
8.) press/tap "Exit" Button
9.) Make correct settings in Traktor (Pro)
Hope this helps.

Thanks Tekki - helpful as always, i'll try that when i get in. So if i do that then when i press one of the other buttons the light should go off on the other one?
Thanks!
It should, providing you have made the correct settings in Traktor too.
(Don't know them by heart, still @work )
