    Default My setup

Hey there peeps. I used to spin over 10 years ago. And sold my TT's approx 5 year ago. Anyway I've had the bug and decided to dust off my wax and purchase some more TT's. I bought a pair of tired looking 1200's and stripped them down, powder coated the plinths, new tone arms, MK5 pitch faders and LED conversion. Current setup is Ecler SMACPRO 40 2 x SL1200 MK2's custom, Ortofon Elektro's and Torq DVS (got the torq system thrown in with another mixer and 1200 I bought cheap). I will be keeping a look out for a used SL1 box . Hope you like the pics ain't great but, you'll get the idea. Cheers

So far no real dramas with Troq, however I have only had it a short while (2 weeks). I have read many horror stories about crashes on gigs etc. I'm looking for a SL1 box as we speak. I bought serato SL1 when it first came out and it was stable and very reliable. I used to be the rep for all Rane including DJ products in Australia So I know the history of the product and Serato rocks

Well quick update. Torq is a complete pile of shit. Last weekend me and my brother had a VS play off which lasted 8 hours straight (sorry neighbours) during that time Torq crashed 3 times and also popped and clicked and carried on every so often so the control wax has been nailed to the wall and I smashed the interface into 1 million pieces. SL1 box is in the mail.

lol that's got to be rapid gear disposing syndrome
It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
