We know that a lot of our community is hurting right now. Especially for DJs and producers who rely on paid event gigs to support them financially, shelter-in-place and social distancing is incredibly hard. Bandcamp is doing something great – waiving their fees for a few first Fridays over the next few months. The next fee-free day is this Friday, May 1st – followed by July 5th and July 3rd.
We thought this would be a great chance for us to directly spotlight and support DJTT community members who have spent time crafting their own original music and released on Bandcamp.
Fill out the form (below) and we will include you on a master list of all projects that we broadcast each of these days, as well as choosing a few projects that we like and putting them into an article. It’s totally free, and will hopefully bring everyone who participates some much-needed income in this really challenging time.
We’d prefer to spotlight relatively recent releases – sometime in the last two years preferred! Submit by this Thursday at noon PST to be sure you are included.
We’d love to do something like this for DJs who aren’t producers in the future – if you have a good idea as to how – let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
