Here’s a bit of a November surprise: Pioneer DJ is announcing yet another new product, following up the DDJ-FLX6. This time it’s the DJM-V10-LF, a long fader version of their flagship top-end V10 mixer.
Pioneer DJ has handily provided a comparison graphic of the only difference between the two mixers: much longer faders – 60 mm on the V10-LF instead of 45 mm on the V10. There’s lots more room around the upfaders to mix, and no crossfader assignment, naturally.
There’s one more thing – a new fader curve setting curve on the V10-LF which is designed specifically for this model. It’s not exactly clear from the press release what that curve is, they just mention it “enables you to make fine adjustments to the volume of each channel and precisely control the output sound”.
The DJM-V10-LF is coming out ASAP for $3,299 – exactly $100 more expensive than the with-crossfader counterpart model.
