Great news for djay PRO AI and Virtual DJ users – starting today, you can now use both programs with a Rane ONE controller (psst – thinking about trying out the ONE? Read our review here). Both softwares are now plug-and-play compatible with the device.
On the djay PRO AI front, this means you’ll be able to access the software through the Rane ONE directly, as well as utilize its Neural Mix technology on the controller. Neural Mix is an artificial intelligence-based music player and editor, which allows DJs to select, play, and remix elements from multiple tracks in real-time. The update also comes with an improved integration with the Rane Seventy and the Rane Twelve MKII on iOS and Mac.
Virtual DJ’s accessibility on the Rane ONE will also allow users to access the flagship features of the software, including Real-Time Stems Separation – where you can separate a track’s elements on the fly and combine individual pieces as you’d like. (If you’re curious about how that works, check out this review).
Interested in trying it out? You can grab a download of djay Pro AI here, and Virtual DJ here. The Rane ONE is also available on the DJTT shop for $1,499.
