The flagship CDJ-3000s from Pioneer DJ may have just become more appealing to Serato DJ Pro users, as they’ve announced that the gear is now compatible with the USB-HID control feature of the software.
This means that Serato DJ Pro users can connect their PC or Mac to the CDJ-3000 and browse their entire Serato library on the 3000’s screen. It also provides DJs with the ability to scratch tracks and control tempo, key, Hot Cues, and more on the gear directly, rather than needing to turn to your laptop.
In order to use this new feature, you’ll need the newest update of Serato DJ Pro – v.2.5.7, which you can grab here – and the latest firmware for the CDJ-3000s installed (available on the Pioneer website).
