You remember how in 2015, we did a great How I Play with live hardware performance wizard Stimming? Well, he’s back for more with this 2022 update.
Earlier this year, Stimming launched his first piece of production hardware – the Instant Mastering Chain. It’s an analog audio processor chain built for artists on the go, as he designed it to be portable enough to fit into carry-on luggage. Upon its release, our first question became – naturally – well, how does he use it?
In this edition of our How I Play series, we’re stepping into a gear-lover’s dream. Stimming shows us how he crafted the Cyborgs Like Unicorns Too (Stimming Remix) track using his current gear kit and the IMC. As he calls it – it’s “a balance between complexity and simplicity.”
