Bandcamp’s UX just got a bit more functional and a lot more fun. As of just a few days ago, the platform has added the ability to make playlists with tracks in your collection. Users registered on the platform can add tunes from a track or album’s menu, or by long-pressing the line item.
The playlist feature is available on the mobile app only, not on desktop (yet, at least). Just head to the Playlists option on the top bar.
Both the playlist function overall *and* the ability to download your music for offline listening is a power move as a longstanding platform in the scene. Adding these options puts it more in the vein of mobile apps like Soundcloud that offer offline listening for playlists.
You can download the Bandcamp Fan App on iOS here and Android here.
