Digging well into their product vaults, Native Instruments has just announced that they’re releasing a new Komplete Audio 6 MK2 soundcard. This is a refresh of the original Komplete Audio 6 that they put out way back at the start of the decade in 2011.
New generation NI design, with more I/O

This Audio 6 MK2 interface is almost certainly going to be attractive for producers who found the Audio 1 / Audio 2 releases earlier this year to be a bit lightweight for their needs. It packs some powerful features and I/O, including two line 1/4″ inputs, two XLR switchable between mic and line, SPDIF inputs; as well as dual 1/4″ headphone outputs, four 1/4″ outputs each with CV/gate control (if you’re using outboard gear that can take it), and MIDI I/O ports.
Amazingly, it’s all USB-bus powered – one less power adapter to lose in your studio. At $239, and set to be released We suspect this soundcard will also be right at home in advanced live instrument setups considering the wide range of inputs and outputs.
