A modern pianist, with a computer engineering degree, DJ PC3 (Paul Cruse III) knows just as much about the music he plays as the software and equipment he uses to spin it.
Starting his DJ’ing career as a freshman while attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. PC3 started spinning at local frat parties and small bars. With PC3?s unique style of mixing across numerous genres and time-periods in a single set, he was quickly given his own residency at the hottest college clubs on campus, and even had a weekly mix show on local radio station WPGU 102.7.
Since graduating the University of Illinois with a degree in Computer Engineering and Political Science, he has moved back to his hometown Chicago to attend law school at DePaul College of Law. Though he attends law school by day, he still follows his passion for music, and DJ’s by night. With his varied style, PC3 has had been headlined at the hottest nightclubs in Chicago, such as The Shrine, The Vibe (formally Crobar), John Barleycorn, (just to name a few) and is a guest DJ on hottest radio station for Hip Hop and R&B in the midwest, WGCI 107.5.
In addition, he has worked along side with some of the most popular names in music like Cassidy, Ludacris, Fat Joe, and Nicki Minaj.
Regardless of the genre of music or the type of crowd, DJ PC3 always finds a way to keep them entertained and dancing. With his passion for music and in-depth knowledge of the audio equipment and software, he is able to mix and mashup any genre of music in a way audiences have never heard before.
