We don’t often share DJ competitions that we spot online to because there are so many out there. Many of them give bedroom DJs a chance to get on the big stage, get a an awesome gear/cash prize, or even get a chance to learn from some of the greats. That being said, Mixcloud has put together a competition where the winning DJs get a summer-long residency in Ibiza, a trip to a DJ bootcamp to learn from top-tier DJs, and a chance to win a grand prize of 100,000 Euros (~$137,000).

A few tips for winning the competition:
- Put at least one original production or edit in your entry mix (the rules note that “production/sound engineering skills will be highly beneficial”)
- Mentor/judges include Pete Tong, Carl Cox, and Philipp Straub. Take the time to do your research and listen to their own mixes or shows. How can you catch their ear?
- There is a voting element – the top 20% voted entries from each country will be listened to and judged. The sooner you get your mix together, the more time you have to rally your votes.
