London-based dubstep pioneer Skream today announced a brand new club gig with a twist: there’s no twists. The night, dubbed Skreamizm seems to take aim at all of the high-production, overblown club and festival experiences, instead offering a night with “a dark room, a massive soundsystem, an extended set, and a focus firmly on the music.”
Having come from the underground London scene, his decision to go simple makes a lot of sense- and is sure to resonate with electronic music fans who are sick of wild lights and visual shows being the focus of events.
The first gig is set to be on Friday, November 9th at Electric Brixton in London – more information and details available on the official site (see links below).
