On June 29, Denon DJ’s latest piece of hardware will become available to the global masses with the launch of the Prime 4+. The 4-deck controller is the first standalone to exist with a Stems separation ability, as well as built-in Wi-Fi to use major streaming services like Amazon Music, Beatport, TIDAL and more.

The Prime 4+ comes with quite the array of features – clearly built with the gigging DJ in mind. The most notable ones we find:
- Stems separation functionality – in beta as of summer 2023, according to Denon – for real-time isolation of track vocals and instruments
- Wi-Fi music streaming access for Amazon Music Unlimited, TIDAL, Beatsource, Beatport, Soundcloud GO+, and Dropbox
- On-board track analysis for music from both your music library and the streaming platforms of your choosing
- 10.1-inch HD touch display + 6-inch metal jog wheels with their own HD displays
- 16 pad-triggered sample slots
- Touch FX for interactive touchscreen audio manipulation
- 26 FX features + 4 knob-controlled Sweep FX, all of which are combinable
- 16 performance pads with Hot Cue, Saved Loop, Auto Loop, Roll, Sampler, Slicer, and Slicer Loop modes
- Computer Mode – use the 4+ as a controller to work with Serato DJ Pro (unlockable via the hardware) or Virtual DJ (subscription required)
- Engine Remote Desktop – reach the full track library living on your computer via wireless access
- Customizable crossfader with channel assignment switches, Fader Start, and curve control knob
- Internal audio recorder – making it easy to save your sets without plugging in a recorder
- Embedded lighting control for automatic and customized DMX, Philips Hue, and Nanoleaf light shows
- 4 USB inputs, 1 SD input, and an under-panel + built-in SATA drive bay
