Stagecraft Software has produced fun and fascinating DJ and producer tools in the past few years, and today founder Aaron Leese is showing off his latest work, a turntable-style control application for the Leap Motion gesture-detecting hardware sensor device.
According to the video, Leap Turntable is just an early prototype produced for Leap to potentially show off at the NAMM show (which starts later this week in Anaheim, CA). In the short demo, the forward/back hand motions act just as they might on a turntable, grabbing the track and manipulating playback forward and backwards – watch for yourself:
